During your Divemaster training or internship , you’ll become part of our team, assisting instructors and student divers, organizing dive trips, and helping customers to enjoy their time underwater. You will learn what it is like to work in a diving center, and build experience and confidence in your own diving skills.

Your Divemaster course includes workshops, and practical exercises that prepare you to handle challenges, guide divers, and plan dive activities safely and professionally.

By the end of the course, you’ll be a stronger, more confident diver, and — you’ll be a PADI professional, ready to share your passion for the ocean and start your diving career.

PADI Divemaster course

Why choose us

If you are taking the first step to become a professional scuba diver, the PADI Divemaster course, Moalboal is a wonderful place to do it! Moalboal, or to be precise, Panagsama Beach is a wonderful place to spend a few weeks. You will get to know the Philippinos and their culture when living among the locals. Panagsama is a bustling diving destination so it’s very easy to meet other divers and make friends.

Of course, you will be in the water almost every day! During your Divemaster course, you will get an opportunity to learn from our experienced instructors. You will spend time with customers, do lots of diving and you will become a scuba diving professional!

Best of all, we have some great deals that include accomodation and unlimited diving!

So what jobs can you expect to do as a qualified PADI Divemaster? There’s a lot!

Guiding

Main duties as Divemaster will be to supervise and guide certified divers. This is actually much more than swimming around and pointing at fish!!

In your Divemaster course you will learn all it takes to assure that your customers have an enjoyable diving experience; organizing equipment, choosing your dive site and planning your dive, anticipating and avoiding potential problems, etc.

Assisting with courses

As a qualified PADI Divemaster you can also assist Instructors in conducting dive courses of all levels. This can be a very useful and rewarding job. You can assist your Instructor by helping students to overcome learning difficulties and supervising students (that are taking their first breaths under water) when they are not under the immediate Instructors attention.

Being a PADI Divemaster allows you to apply to become a DSD Leader. A DSD Leader can take ‘Discover Scuba Diving’ participants in the pool or confined water, after a brief explanation of the basic diving knowledge. This allows you to take people in shallow water, let them practice their first breaths with scuba equipment and teach them the first basic diving skills like regulator clearing and mask clearing.

Teaching

There are also some PADI courses that you can teach as a Divemaster. For instance, a PADI Divemaster is allowed to teach all (AWARE) courses without dives. After completing the appropriate Specialty Instructor course a PADI Divemaster is also allowed to teach the Digital Underwater Photography course.

If a diver has not been active for a long time and wants to do the PADI Reactivate Program, that can also be taught by a PADI Divemaster.
